Michał Pietrzak

Professor Michał Pietrzakgraduated from the Faculty of Law at University of Warsaw in 1952 and since then he has been working at the Faculty of Law and Administration of University of Warsaw going through all levels of academic career to the title of ordinary professorship in 1989. His researches concerned issues of political and legal systems of II and III Republic of Poland, and from 1972 also the denominational law.
He is the author of 3 monographies and two academic coursebooks (one together with prof. Juliusz Bardach and Bogusław Leśnodorski), more than 50 works and articles, many glosses and opinions. He is promotor of several doctorate thesis and more than 300 M/A degrees. He took part as an expert in the preparation of the law concerning religious denominations in 1989. He was a co author of the project of the Constitution of Republic of Poland presented by President Lech Wałęsa.
